- West from Glenferrie Lodge you will encounter the suburbs Milsons Point and North Sydney including spacious parklands under the north side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Luna Park and the North Sydney Swimming Pool.
EAST - At Glenferrie Lodge you look out over Sydney Harbour towards the ocean with Fort Denison in the middle. On your left you can see Bradley's Head National Park with its old Military instalments and Taronga Zoo on the foreshore.
NORTH - North from Glenferrie Lodge to look towards Middle Harbour, popular with yacht and boating enthusiasts. Further across from Middle Harbour is Mosman, leading to Sydney�s beautiful Northern Beaches.

Directly opposite the Opera House at the end of Kirribilli Point, stands Admirality House (closest to the bridge) and Kirribilli House, the Sydney residences of the Governor-General and the Prime Minister respectively.
These grand houses are only opened to the public on special occasions, and are within one minute walk of Glenferrie Lodge.

Taronga
Zoo

The constantly evolving Taronga Park Zoo overlooking the harbour
from Mosman has a wide variety of animals, many native
to Australia.
Ferries leave Warf 2 at Circular Quay and
stop at the Zoos' harbour entrance. However the Zoo is
set on a steep hill, so if you don't want to be continually
walking up hill, it is recommended you catch a bus from
Circular Quay to the front entrance, and take a ferry
home. During the summer months night visits are organised
so you can view the nocturnal animals.

Kirribilli Markets are held on
the fourth Saturday of the month on the former Kirribilli
Bowling Club site ( corner of Fitzroy and Alfred St
on the western side of the Harbour Bridge). This is
one of the oldest established markets in Sydney and
has up to 200 stall holders selling a wide variety of
merchandise.
The Market is managed by Kirribilli Neighbourhood
Centre and bookings and enquiries can be made through

Sydney Markets
are held on the second Saturday of each month in the
Civic Park between Council Chambers and Stanton Library
on Miller Street North Sydney. For enquiries or bookings
ring the Market Hotline of the North Sydney Community

their web site where a booking form can be downloaded.

Northside
Produce Market is also run by the North Sydney
Community Centre and aims to provide fresh market and
gourmet produce in a convivial market atmosphere. The
Market operates on the 3rd Saturday of the month from
8am to 12 noon. The Market is held in the Civic Park
between Council Chambers and Stanton Library on Miller
